AFWD’s Youth One Stop provides tailored, evidence-based support for young people navigating the hardest situations. All services are free and confidential.
Disabilities
We use evidence-based models, including Individual Placement and Support (IPS) — supported employment, with integrated resource teams. The goal is real work in real jobs with the support you need to succeed.
Homelessness
We combine rapid rehousing and rapid employment to meet individuals in their time of crisis. Housing and income, addressed together, are the fastest path back to stability.
Youth previously in foster care
Transitions out of foster care are hard. We provide one-on-one career planning, education funding, and connections to housing and benefits services.
Young parents
Programs designed around the realities of being a young parent — flexible schedules, childcare referrals, and career paths that support a family.
Immigrants and refugees
We help skilled immigrants integrate into the community by rapidly gaining language skills so they can apply their experience to the workplace.
