AFWD's Youth One Stop has programs designed to meet you where you are — whether you're still in high school, finished, or considering coming back. All services are free.
In high school?
- Part-time paid work experience while you are still in high school
- Career exploration and tools to plan what comes next
- Mentorship from caring adults
- Help finding a first job that fits around your school schedule
Out of school or dropped out?
- High School Equivalency (HSE) class enrollment to earn your diploma
- Individual Training Awards (ITA) for a certificate in a high-demand field
- Paid work experience and on-the-job training
- Career coaching tailored to your situation
Veteran services for youth
We honor the service of young veterans by providing tailored support for the transition to civilian work.
- Welcomes veterans ages 18–24
- Direct referrals to on-site partners offering a full range of veteran services
- GI Bill and education benefits navigation
- Translating military experience to civilian resumes
